Who should take BLS?

BLS is for any healthcare provider or first-responder who needs to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. The course provides prehospital and in-facility tracks, and an accelerated renewal course is available for providers who have BLS experience and need to recertify.

EMTs, Firefighters, Police Officers, Paramedics, Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Nursing Students, Pharmacists.

This Convenient new alternative for renewing completion of the BLS Provider course! This updated release of the Web-based eLearning course provides Part 1, the online portion of the BLS Provider course. It includes a series of modules that cover all required sequences and provides participants with the convenient option of taking the BLS Provider exam online.

Those who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance to a skills validation session with an AHA BLS instructor at When Seconds Count, Inc. An AHA course completion eCard will be issued by When Seconds Count, Inc. which is a Nationally Recognized AHA Training Center when both parts are successfully completed.

Completion eCards are issued upon completion of your Live Skills Session.
